Appalachian does not have a physical location in any other country, and all online courses and programs are delivered from the United States. Appalachian cannot confirm whether or not a degree earned from our institution will be recognized by any other country.

Please note, some online courses may require synchronous meetings. Students must be available to participate during these meetings, which take place in the Eastern Standard Time zone. Further, Information Technology Support Services, at this time, is not available 24 hours a day. However, students are able to submit a support request 24/7. See the Technology Support Center for support hours.

All student data, including international students, is handled according to FERPA guidelines. For information regarding data privacy and protection please see the FERPA Information for Students webpage.

International students pay the same tuition and fee rate as out-of-state Distance Education students. For current rates, see the Student Accounts webpage and select the current academic year's Distance Education Tuition and Fees link on the left hand side. Appalachian has not, and cannot, evaluate any tax liability that may accrue to you from your home country. We recommend consulting your tax accountant for advice on these issues.
