Description:
The Hayes School of Music’s 25th annual Holiday Scholarship Concert will be Friday, December 1, at 7:30 p.m. in the Schaefer Center for the Performing Arts at Appalachian State University.
Admission is $10. Tickets are available at the Schaefer Center Box Office weekdays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., or may be purchased online at http://theschaefercenter.org. Ticket sales support scholarships for students in the Hayes School of Music.
During the past 25 years, the performance has opened the holidays with a festive, family friendly concert featuring ensembles and orchestras from the music school. Performing this year are the Steely Pan Steel Band, Brass Choir, Sax Quartet, University Singers, Trombone Choir, Trumpet Choir, Chamber Singers, Treble Choir, Guitar Orchestra, Flute Ensemble, and Wind Ensemble.
