Dean Search Update

Dear Faculty and Staff Colleagues,

The University has contracted with executive search firm Greenwood/Asher & Associates to assist our on-campus search committees with filling the positions of Dean of the Reich College of Education, Dean of the Walker College of Business and Dean of the College of Fine and Applied Arts. The search firm will be on campus this Thursday, December 3, 2015 for an initial orientation visit and process planning.

Based upon a tentative search timeline, it is anticipated that on-campus interviews with finalists will occur the first two weeks of April; with an anticipated start date of July 1, 2016 for all three dean appointments.

Again, campus input throughout the process will be critical to helping us build a strong applicant pool and to successfully fill these very important positions. I also want to reiterate my gratitude and thanks to all search committee members who are dedicating their valuable time and talent to fill these academic leadership positions. A dedicated webpage is being developed to track search progress and to gather feedback from the campus community. We hope to be able to share that link with you very soon.

Sincerely,

Darrell P. Kruger
Provost and Executive Vice Chancellor
