Description:
The Hayes School of Music at Appalachian State University will present the Appalachian Percussion Ensemble in a concert at 8 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 7. The performance will take place in Rosen Concert Hall, Broyhill Music Center on the university campus. Admission is free.
Directed by Dr. Robert J. Falvo, a professor of percussion at Appalachian, the group will present the tenth concert in its “Open Mind” series. The program will feature works by Lou Harrison, Steve Reich, John Cage, Collective Improv at App (C.I.A), Benares Baj Demonstration and Jesse Monkman.
