Student learning outcomes: Music Industry Studies (BS)
Shown here are the general learning goals of the program broken down into specific student learning outcomes (SLOs). These SLOs represent what a student should be able to do as a result of successfully completing this program. Student performance on these outcomes are routinely assessed by program faculty as a way of informing programmatic improvement efforts.
To develop in students the professional background and skills necessary to be successful as an intern and in their careers within the industry.
To obtain an understanding of the music industry, including the functions and business models of its basic component sectors, and the relationships of these sectors to each other.
