Student learning outcomes: Technology Education (BS)
Shown here are the general learning goals of the program broken down into specific student learning outcomes (SLOs). These SLOs represent what a student should be able to do as a result of successfully completing this program. Student performance on these outcomes are routinely assessed by program faculty as a way of informing programmatic improvement efforts.
Career and Technical Education (CTE) candidates integrate career development into their instructional program, including career planning and workplace readiness.
Career and Technical Education (CTE) teacher candidates coordinate the career technical student organization (CTSO) appropriate to their program area according to State and National guidelines.
Career and Technical Education (CTE) teacher candidates demonstrate an understanding of the content in their area of concentration.
CTE teacher candidates design, implement, and manage an instructional program that is safe, engaging, and addresses state and national standards.
