International Business (BSBA)

Shown here are the general learning goals of the program broken down into specific student learning outcomes (SLOs). These SLOs represent what a student should be able to do as a result of successfully completing this program. Student performance on these outcomes are routinely assessed by program faculty as a way of informing programmatic improvement efforts.

Goal Outcome

Students will be proficient in a foreign language.

  • Students will be able to communicate effectively through writing in a foreign language
  • Students will be able to converse effectively in a foreign language

Students will possess functional knowledge pertinent to international business activities.

  • Students will perform above the 75th percentile on standardized test in area of international business. This was changed to be in the 90th percentile as of 2010-2011 school year.
  • Three mutiple choice questions will be administered prior to graduation. 75% of students must correctly answer the first question, plus at least either question 2 or 3.

Students will possess the cross cultural skills necessary to work with people from diverse backgrounds.

  • Students will be able to converse effectively in a foreign language
